Well, this is my first time creating a blog, so I really don't know what I am doing. However, I am excited about it and I am sure I will learn. So, I welcome any tips that I can get!
What I do know is that I love recipes and I love to cook as well. Therefore, I plan to post some of my favorite recipes and will add pictures as they become available. Also, I am always looking for some great recipes.

- I have lived in Michigan all my life (except one year in Germany). I have been married for 31 years; have two children and two grandchildren. When I was raising my kids, I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. I called myself a professional volunteer, because I was involved in everything my kids were involved in. Whether it was, girl scouts, boy scouts, church, school, etc., if there was a need for help I was raising my hand to help and I loved it. Now my kids are all grown up and I have been blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. I only live one hour away from them, so it is pretty easy to spend time with them. I go to see them every week, and sometimes they come spend the weekend with grandma & grandpa. I like nothing more than being with family. My second love is cooking. I have never gone to culinary school or anything like that. I just like to cook. I also am addicted to recipes. In addition to the many cookbooks I have, I subscribe to a few food magazines and I have a lot of recipes that I have gotten off the Internet. What a great resource!
